What we think, feel and act upon is the world we are in and will continue to be that world until or unless we choose something different. Once a spiral of emotion has been activated it will take awareness and intent-ful work or practice to move to a new centre of gravity or shift up to a higher vibrational emotional tone.
A misperception many have is that we should ignore thoughts and feelings that come up that we have decided are negative. There is the thought that we must push them away so that we won’t attract that negative thing into our world. The difficulty with this line of thinking is that what we are in fact doing is suppressing the negativity, burying it or hiding it away from our awareness. Pushing things away can be as easy as sweeping it under the rug or bulldozing it out of sight.
In effect we’re keeping it and it is still active although we are no longer conscious of it and may even believe it is gone.
Why is This Happening to Me?
If you’ve ever asked this question before you may now have some idea of the answer. There is some energetic signature within that is bringing this experience to you. You may see this experience as something you prefer or perhaps not. Either way it is beneficial to be aware of what is going on in your inner world as this is what will manifest in your outer world.
Take time every day to focus inward to come to truly know yourself.
