Choosing to Change
Starting any new practise requires strength of will. It takes:
▪ choosing to change
▪ making a new plan and
▪ the determination to stick with it.
Many people know that meditation has benefits but you will need to keep at the practise for a while to know this for yourself. As you practise you will discover for yourself what benefits meditation has for you.
Yesterday we looked at a few short, simple examples of practise in calming or silencing the mind that anyone can begin with. There are many other meditation practises such as chanting and use of mantras. It is advisable to work with a knowledgable guide or teacher.
