I have been away on an extended holiday road trip with my husband and another couple and so it has been two weeks since I last posted here. Before I pick up where I left off a little review is in order.
My purpose in writing this blog is to introduce my philosophy and myself as a Life Coach.
- In reviewing these posts you will get a sense of the way we might work together.
- You will see that we each must do our own work and
- that we can also lighten the load with the support of a considerate coach as well as a community of like-minded colleagues.
To this end I enjoy working privately with my clients as well as engaging in group sessions. The individuals in these small groups become close over time and offer great support to each other in their process.
Most of us question from time to time the meaning of existence. We are here to experience Life each in our individual way. At some point some of us may recognize that life seems smaller than it perhaps ought to be and we question what is “out there” that we are not experiencing. We begin to sense there is more to Life and we begin to seek what feels like “freedom”.
As we begin to work on ourselves the first step is self observation. We want to really see what is going on with ourselves so that we can later take steps to remove the obstacles to our living that life of freedom we so desire.
We write our story as with that exercise we begin to see how we really perceive ourselves to be.
We begin to get a sense of our general emotional tone. We begin to notice that it is our Emotional Tone (some might refer to that as attitude) that determines what and how we experience our life.
As we look deeper at what we are feeling about our experiences we begin to see that we are grasping and repelling at things and how this affects how we attract our experiences.
And we start to see that we’re actually a little afraid (or maybe very afraid) of seeing the truth about ourselves.
See you tomorrow with part two of this review.
